STA is a type of NDIS-funded support that provides participants with a temporary stay away from home. It’s often used to give carers a break or help participants build independence and life skills in a new environment.
NDIS participants who would benefit from respite, skill-building, or a change in routine can access STA if it's included in their plan. The amount and type of support is based on individual needs and goals.
Each stay includes accommodation, meals, personal support, and access to activities tailored to the participant’s preferences and NDIS goals. We make sure you feel comfortable, safe, and supported throughout.
STA is focused on short-term change like giving carers time to rest, helping participants build confidence, or trying a new routine. It’s usually for up to 14 days at a time and offers more focused, structured support.
We currently offer STA in the Albury-Wodonga region and surrounding areas. All support is delivered by our local, friendly team, in safe and supportive accommodation settings.
