What AMAT NDIS Group Programs Can Include:

- Social Sports & Movement: Join in on basketball, table tennis, down ball, AFL, and other inclusive sports activities focused on fun, teamwork, and confidence building.

- Community Outings & Events: Attend Comic-Con, local music gigs, shopping trips, and community events that build connection and life experience.

- Life Skills in Action: Practice skills like handling money, catching public transport, or navigating shops all in real settings in our Albury Wodonga community with trusted AMAT staff.

Creative & Social Activities

Join our seasonal programs such as:

- Exploring our local community: Explore local attractions, events, and businesses

- Day trips to metro locations: Explore exciting outings to places like the AFL, Royal Melbourne Show, ComicCon, Melbourne Aquarium, Questacon, and Melbourne Zoo.

- Gardening groups: Connect, grow, and enjoy the outdoors together.

- Craft groups: Designed to inspire creativity and connection.

It’s about self-expression, learning new skills, and having fun with others in a therapeutic, supportive environment.

Walk & Talk Groups

Enjoy gentle outdoor movement while socialising with others in a supportive, low-pressure group. Our Walk & Talk Groups are based on a Monday and Thursday Morning.

We meet at our facility (20 Queen St, Wodonga) at 10am on Monday's or 9.30am on Thursday's.

These sessions are great for mental wellbeing, confidence, and staying active at your own pace.

All NDIS participants are welcome self-managed, plan-managed, or referred by a coordinator. Programs are inclusive, accessible, and designed for a range of abilities and goals.

Where do group programs take place?

Programs are run both in the community (e.g. local events, cafes, sports venues) and at the AMAT centre in Wodonga. We also assist with transport as needed.

Each program is built around real-life goals like improving social skills, building independence, getting active, or engaging with the community and all are aligned with NDIS outcomes.
